Here at Turner Technology, we’re always looking for ways to leverage the latest advancements to better serve our clients and streamline our own operations. That’s why I’m embarking on an exciting journey over the coming months – diving deep into the world of Artificial Intelligence by simultaneously implementing three powerful tools: Microsoft 365 Copilot, Google Gemini, and ChatGPT.
Today, Wednesday, May 14th, 2025, marks the official kickoff of this exploration. It’s a busy spring for us here at Turner Technology, and we’re anticipating an even busier summer. So, what better time to see just how much AI can assist in achieving both our professional and personal goals?
Let’s break down the players:
Microsoft 365 Copilot:
As a Microsoft partner and reseller, integrating Copilot feels like a natural step. Being deeply connected to our business data within the Microsoft Cloud, I envision Copilot as my go-to digital assistant. My initial goals include:
- Seamless integration with our existing Microsoft 365 suite (Outlook, Teams, etc.).
- Identifying practical applications of Copilot that can benefit both our internal team and potentially our clients.
- Exploring its capabilities to enhance productivity and streamline workflows.
Google Gemini Advanced:
Included with my new Google Pixel 9 Pro XL, Gemini offers a unique connection to my personal data within the Google Cloud. My focus here is on personal use and organization, specifically:
- Assisting with home and yard projects – from research to planning.
- Facilitating research and planning for personal endeavors, such as an upcoming RV trip and (hopefully!) cheering on the Vikings.
ChatGPT (via a Custom GPT):
Recently added to my AI toolkit, this instance of ChatGPT is particularly intriguing. Developed by Jon Manley specifically for Managed Service Providers, it promises to offer tailored insights and tools relevant to our industry. My initial objectives with this GPT are centered around:
- Exploring its potential for generating new lead sources.
- Leveraging it to create useful templates for our internal processes and client communications.
- Investigating its capabilities for developing effective follow-up tools.
HubSpot too!
We’re also in the early stages of onboarding with HubSpot CRM, and while we haven’t fully explored its AI capabilities yet, we’re excited about the possibilities. A big thank you to the team at Serendipity for guiding us through this process – expect updates on our HubSpot journey in future posts!
Summary
With so much happening, I’m eager to document my experiences as a relative beginner navigating these powerful AI tools. I’ll be sharing my insights on ease of use, real-world effectiveness, and the overall impact AI has on my daily workflow.
It’s almost tempting to think that one of these AI tools could have written this very blog post! Perhaps that’s the exciting – and slightly unsettling – nature of this rapidly evolving technology. Stay tuned for more updates as I delve deeper into the capabilities of Copilot, Gemini, and ChatGPT and share my findings with you.
